It was December 24 and the houses were decorated nicely, while the snow fell lightly outside. There were some people singing carols and everything looked peaceful. That is until you got to the Kurosaki household. Ichigo had just arrived home, leaving Rukia and his sisters outside playing with the snow, from a presentation on the park his sisters and Rukia wanted to see.

Flashback
"Come on, it's starting!!!!" screamed an excited Yuzu, pulling her sister, Karin, by one arm.

As the show started Rukia had a look on her face that showed that she was amazed. Have you ever seen an ice skating presentation Rukia? asked Ichigo.

"No, and I never been ice skating either." said Rukia with a sad face.

"Never?!" asked Ichigo looking pretty shocked. He thought that since she had a snow-type sword, well she might have been more familiarized seeing people skating.

"No, the only things I have seen on Christmas are performances in the Soul Society and none included ice skating." she answered. "Why do you ask?"

"Well I expected that in the Soul Society they had better entertaintment than here, guess I'm wrong." said Ichigo, returning his attention to the show, not pretending to tell her what he thought.

"Oh" said Rukia. She just couldn't tellhim how happy she was that he was there with her, not to mention how hot he looked wearing some jeans, a black shirt, and a red blazer.

The show ended with an amazing finale that stole the breath from every expectator.

"That was amazing!!!!" said Rukia, she looked as a little child that had just seen something for the first time.

End of flashback

On there walk home, Rukia, Yuzu and Karin decided to stay outside playing in the snow, so Ichigo walk inside his house. As soon as he entered he saw his crazy father swinging his fist to deck him in the face, but like always Ichigo ducked and his father crashed against the door.

"Good job my son, you just keep getting better and better" said Isshin rubbing his face.

"Damn dad would quit attacking me!!!!" screamed an annoyed Ichigo.

"I won't stop until you answer the question I asked yesterday" replied Isshin with a serious look on his face.

"Well the answer is no" said Ichigo. His father kick him in the gut and sent him flying to the living room. "Ow!!!!! What the hell dad?!?!"

"You still haven't brought a present for Rukia-chan?!?!" now Isshin was the one screaming, and he looked pretty angry too.

"I haven't found the time. Beisdes why should I get her something? She will get the things all you got her.

Ichigo din't notice Rukia had entered the house  and the fact is the she heard him say that.

"Well thanks a lot stupid strawberry!!!!" screamed a sad Rukia that had tears on her eyes. She kick his ass and went running upstairs to the twin's room and there she began crying.

"I didn't mean that..." Ichigo tried to fix what he said, but she was gone.

"Nice going, Ichigo" said Karin as she went to her room followed by her sister to see Rukia.

"Now you will go will go find the perfect present for Rukia-chan, until you will not enter the house!!!!" screamed Isshin as he kicked Ichigo out the front door to the street. Thank goodness he hadn't taken off his bleazer, because it was damn cold outside.

"Great, now I have to get the 'perfect present' for Rukia for what I said" mumble Ichigo as he began walking to Urahara's to get some advice.  

I shouldn't have said that, I'm an idiot! What the hell should I get her now! Sure Chappy the rabbit would do, but everyone, including Rukia, would think I got that to get home and not die of coldness outside. I want to give her something special, something she won't forget, something that would get me close to her again and win her forgivenance.

He arrived at the store were Jinta lead him in and Ururu called Urahara. The store was nicely decorated to, it had lights and lost of decorations.

"What can I do for you, Ichigo?" came a voice for inside of the storage.

" I need your help. I must find the 'perfect present' for Rukia or my father will not let me home." said Ichigo with a desperate tone.

"I believe that there's something beyond that, am I right?" asked Urahara with a smirk.

"Well...I kinda said something rude to her and I want to make up to her with something she won't forget. But that means I need a Chappy plushie, do you have one? said Ichigo with a slight blush in his face.

"I was just checking the storage and I'm afraid to tell you that I'm out of Chappy plusies." replied Urahara.

"What?! Then what the hell I'm gonna do?! screamed Ichigo looking as if he had no escape.

"Go to the Soul Society ask her friends what she likes and in those stores get the plushie." said Urahara taking it easy.

"I don't have time to wait for the gate to be ready so- Ichigo began, but got interrupted when Urahara talked.

"It's ready already" he said with a smirk. "Yoruichi is leaving for the Soul Society, so you can use it too." said Urahara smiling.

"Really? Ok, then I'll go. Would you take care of my body while I'm gone?" asked Ichigo looking in his pocked for the Soul reaper badge abd hit himself with it in his chest, separating his soul from his body.

"Sure, no problem" said Tessai as he came and picked up Ichigo's body.

"This way" said Urahara, opening that trapdoor that leaded into the underground were the gate was.

"So Ichigo, you gonna buy a present for Rukia?" asked Yoruichi smiling at him.

He blushed, but nodded.

"Ok, we're off!!!!" screamed Yoruichi as they began running through the Precipice World.

On the Kurosaki household

Rukia was crying. She didn't expect those words coming from his mouth. They sounded as if he didn't care for her. Karin and Yuzu were there trying to get her in a happy mood.

"You should cry for that idiot, he tends to hide his feelings from everyone" said Karin feeling sad in seeing Rukia like this.

"Karin's right, he didn't mean that, he just said to get dad off of his back, he didn't want to hurt you." said Yuzu looking at her, but she still looked mad.

"Look if he didn't care he would have gotten inside the house ages ago through his window and he hasn't, so don't worry he cares for you." said Karin leaving the roon along Yuzu to give her privacy.

Does Ichigo really care for me? Maybe his sisters are right. Well we'll see, right now I'm gonna take a nap.

Soul Society

Ichigo arrived with Yoruichi and as soon as they landed he left to find the first person he should ask: Renji.

He found Renji in a bar talking and drinking with Rangiku, Izuru, Hisagi, Ikkaku and Iba.

"Yo, Renji!" said Ichigo, smirking.

"Hi there!" said Rangiku, looking kinda drunk.

"What's up?" said Ikkaku, in a worst condition that Rangiku.

"Ichigo, what are you doing here?" asked Renji looking surprised.

"I need to ask you something, about Rukia." answered Ichigo.

"What about her?" asked Renji looking at Ichigo suspiciously.

"I need you to tell me things she might like for a Chritsmas present." Ichigo says with a slight blush in his face.

"Awww... Ichi wants a present for his Rukia" Rangiku says with a dreamy look, probably because of the alcohol.

"She is not my Rukia, Rangiku!!!" Ichigo says in a serious tone as if to sound convincing, too bad he is blushing more now.

"Man, you're pathetic." Ikkaku says turning his face to drink more sake.

"Shut up!!! Look who's the pathetic one, drinking sake at this hour of the day!!! replied Ichigo looking irritated.

"What's that?

"You heard me."

"I'm gonna kill you!!!!" screamed Ikkaku unsheathing his sword.

"Bring it on!!!" screamed Ichigo getting Zangetsu off of his back.

"Stop that you two!!! Renji says causing them to stop. "Come on, Ichigo" said Renji next heading out of the bar.

"Fine" said Ichigo following him.

"So, you want a present for Rukia, huh? Why the sudden interest? asked the red head.

"Well I said something I shouldn't have and she heard, so I wanna make up for it. I want to give her something special." Ichigos says loking into the distance.

"Have you thought of Chappy the Rabbit"? asks Renji.

"I'm gonna get the stupid rabbit all right! Anything else?" Ichigo says looking irritated that all he gets for an answer is the rabbit fetish.

"Well, I really don't know so much now. It's been more than 40 years since she became a Kuchiki. Why don't you ask the Captain? Renji says with a devious look.

All the color Ichigo had in his face because of the blush disappeared as he heard that.

How the hell I'm gonna explain Byakuya that I want a present for Rukia without him thinking somethins else and without having a fight?!?!

"Fine then, let's go" Ichigo says, ready for what might happen.

"Here we are" Renji says, "Wait here, I'm gonna ask if he can see you now."

"Ok" Ichigo says, feeling really uncomfortable.

"Captain, Ichigo Kurosaki wants to see you" says Renji bowing before the Captain of squad 6.

"Is it important, Renji?" asked Byakuya with his cold, emotionless voice.

"Yes, it's about Rukia."says Renji.

"Tell him to come in" said Byakuya as he organized some papers.

"Yes, sir!" says Renji as heads to get Ichigo.

"Come on in, Ichigo" says Renji opening the door.

"Alright. Wait, were are you going? asks Ichigo looking at Renji who is leaving.

"I'm gonna continue the drinking session you interrupted. Good Luck!!!" says Renji waving his hands.

"Bastard" says Ichigo in a angry tone.

"What do you want Kurosaki?" the noble's voice came from behind.

"Hi there, Byakuya. I have to ask you something about Rukia" Ichigo says nerviously.

"Scatter-"

"NO, NO!!!! It's nothing like that. I only wanted to know what she likes to give her a present, that all!!" says Ichigo gripping Zangetsu, just in case.

"Are you sure, that's all?" Byakuya's voice sounding muderous now.

"Yes" replied Ichigo.

"Well..." began Byakuya sheating his sword "...she likes Chappy the Rabbit."

"I already know that! Doesn't she like anything else, besides that stupid rabbit?" says Ichigo losing his patience.

"If you don't apreciate the advice, leave. I have no time for you." said Byakuya walking away.

"Fine, whatever." Ichigo says leaving that place.

Well that could had been worse. Now I only need to ask one more person, Captain Ukitake. I hope he has better advice.

"Well hello there, Ichigo!" says a happy Ukitake.

"Hello, Captain. Can I have a moment?" asks Ichigo with a smile.

"Sure, what can I do for you?" asks Ukitake heading inside.

"Could you tell me what Rukia likes, so I can get her a present for tommorrow?" says Ichigo sitting down.

"Well... she likes Chappy the Rabbit" says Ukitake sitting down also.

"I know that. Doesn't she like anything else?" says Ichigo looking upset.

"Well, Ichigo, why don't you try giving her something that comes from you, then? I'm sure she'll like it too." says the Captain smiling.

"But what if she doesn't? What will I do then?" asks Ichigo looking at the Captain.

"Then have Chappy, just in case." says Ukitake as all of this were simple.

"Ok, thanks Captain." says Ichigo standing up. "By the way, where can I find a store that sells a Chappy plushie?"

Kurosaki household

Rukia is in Ichigo's room drawing some stuff. Well not just any stuff, she is finishing the card that goes along Ichigo's present. The card had a nice Chritsmas tree with lights and presents and they were two bunnies. One had black hair, blue eyes and was giving a present to the other one. That other one had orange hair, hazel eyes and a scold on his face. She smiles, she has worked hard on it.

"I hope he likes it, maybe he will frown at the card, but I hope he likes what a bought him." says Rukia looking over at a box wrapped in red paper and a nice golden ribbon.

"Ok, I have the plushie and it's nicely wrapped, so now I have to go to the gate. Ukitake said that he will get permission to open it, so I should have no problem." Ichigo says as he is using shunpo to get to the gate while holding a box with purple wrapping paper and  a blue ribbon.

Once he gets to the gate he finds Renji, Rangiku, Ikkaku and Captain Ukitake there waiting for him.

"So, did you get the present?" asks Ikkaku looking at Ichigo.

"Yes I did." says Ichigo holding out the box so they can see it.

"What did you got for her?" asks Rangiku looking with interest the box.

"A Chappy plushie" says Ichigo blushing a bit.

"Awww... how cute of you!!!" says Rangiku in a high pitched voice.

"Your leaving now, right?" asks Renji smiling.

"Yeah, thanks for everything." says Ichigo smiling.

"Happy Holidays, Ichigo!!!" says Captain Ukitake as Ichigo gets ready.

"Yeah, same to you guys, bye!" Ichigo says as he leaves through the gate.

Back in the Living World
"So Ichigo, did you get the plushie?" asks Urahara as he watches how Ichigo gets back to his body.
"Yeah, but I need to think of something else, the plushie's not enough." Ichigo says.

"Well good luck!" says Urahara as Ichigo leaves.

"Yeah, thanks a lot Urahara." says Ichigo as he leaves to town.

Ichigo left the present at Urahara's, so he could look for another present easily. First he was going to ask his friends for advice, maybe they could help him.

Kurosaki household
"Rukia-chan, would you like making cookies with me?" asks Yuzu with a big smile.

Of course, Yuzu, I'd love to!" says Rukis excitedly.

"Well..." Yuzu says as she turns towards the ingredients, "the ones on the right are for the chocolate cookies and the ones on the left for the gingerberad cookies."

"Guess the chocolate ones are for Ichigo, right?" asks Rukia looking at the table.

"Yeah! How did you know?" asks Yuzu.

"If come to know that Ichigo loves chocolate. Can I do them?" says Rukia with a bit of blush.

"Sure, I'll bet he'll love them, if you do them!!" Yuzu says. This comments makes Rukia blush even more.

"Yeah. I hope he does." she says as she starts making the cookies.

Later On
"The cookies are done" squealed Yuzu.

"I hope they're good." says Rukia looking worried.

Yuzu takes a bite at one chocolate cookie and her eyes widened. "This is an amazing chocolate cookie, Rukia-chan!!!" Yuzu says happily as she keeps eating the cookie.

"Really?" asks Rukia. Yuzu nods. "Ichigo will love them!" says the little girl.

"Thanks, Yuzu" says Rukia smiling.

"Your welcome!! Now I'm gonna make dinner, wanna help me too?" asks Yuzu.

"Sure let's do it!!" says Rukia as they get ready to cook.

I hope Ichigo likes the cookies as much as Yuzu did!!!

"Well it's gonna be seven soon, so I better head home" says Ichigo as he walks to his house for dinner time.

Ichigo had picked the present from Urahara's saying he had no luck finding a better present and that he was going home. The fact was that none of his friends had a decent idea. Chad mentioned the bunny fact again and Uryu said he could sew something up, Ichigo said no, because that thing might have the Quincy stuff and he didn't think Rukia would like it. Orihime offered to make some red bean jelly cookies which Ichigo rejected and Tatsuki said that he should apologize and give her what he got. The last one sounded resonable, so he'll go with that one.

Maybe if she hears all I did to get she'll forgive me!!

While walking, he remember how that day started and something else. He remembered that she has never been ice skating! Oh yeah, he had a plan!

Kurosaki household: 7:00pm
"I'm home" says Ichigo as he enters the house.

"So, did you get the present for Rukia-chan"?asks Isshin raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, I did" says Ichigo smirking.

"Good. Let's have some nice dinner!!!" says Isshin screaming through the house.

Ichigo went to the tree and putted the box there along with the others. Rukia came down wearing a pink long-sleeved dress with white leggins. She looked amazing!

"So, you're here." says Rukia glaring at Ichigo.

"Yeah" he says smiling at her.

"It better ber a good present, strawberry!" threatenes Rukia as she heads for the table.

"You'll like it, I promise." he says looking at her with a smile.

"Whatever, let's eat" she says as she turns from his look, she has a slight blush.

Dinner was fun. Isshin said jokes, Karin glared at him, Yuzu laughed and Ichigo and Rukia changed looks. Then they began talking, taking pictures and eating the cookies (which were good!) till 1:00 am.

"Well Time for bed girls." Isshin says.

"Yeah, yeah." says Karin going upstairs followed be her sister.

"That includes you two also." he says pointing at Ichigo and Rukia.

"Yeah. Good night, Rukia." says Ichigo leaving to his room.

"Whatever, Ichigo." she says as she heads for the twins room. She was still pissed.

It was 2:00 am and Rukia was still awake, she wanted to see what Ichigo got her. She got out of the room quietly, down the stairs and into the living room. She saw the tree, but the box Ichigo had brought wasn't there, instead there was a note.

"Since I knew that you would try to see your present before time, I have it. Get dressed and meet me in the park, close were this morning performance was and make it quick."
Ichigo

"What the hell is wrong with him?!" hissed Rukia. "I'm not going out now!"

But I want my present... Fine I'll go.

She headed up stairs to change. She dreesed with the same clothes she used for dinner, since they're still clean. She got some boots on, a scarf, gloves and a pink blazer. Then she headed out the room, to the door and went directly to the park.

Once she got to the park, she began looking for Ichigo's spiritual pressure. She founded him sitting by the frozen lake with a backpack and her present.

"So, you came, huh." says Ichigo not looking at her.

"Yes I did, so can I have my present?" she asks walking towards him.

"Yeah, come here." he says while getting some ice skates outv of the bag. He pulled Rukia until dhe fell on the snow close to him.

"Ichigo, what the hell?!" screamed Rukia struggling to get away.

"You said that you've never been ice skating, well let's skate together." he answered while getting her boots off and gettig the skates he bought on.

"But I don't know how to skate, Ichigo!" she says while she keeps on struggling, but he is more strong.

"I won't let you fall." he said against her ear. She blushed.

"Ok, then let's go." she says nerviously and not looking at him.

He got his own skates on and helped her to her feet so they could head to the ice. Once in the ice he took her hands and putted them in his waist.
"If you hold on to my you won't fall" he says smiling, but blusing too.

"Alright" she said. She felt how he moved and she did all he told her too. She moved her legs and began feeling more confident that she only had one hand in him.

Soon she felt ready to let him go and when she did she really looked like she didn't need any help at all! She looked at Ichigo and suddenly fell in the ice. Ichigo started laughing, but came close to help her. She took some snow that was close by, made a snowball and threw it in his face. He fell right by her side and she began lughing too. Both of them laughed until she began to give him an intense look. He blushed and looked away.

"Thanks, Ichigo." she said. He looked her and saw her coming close.

Her intention was to give him a kiss in the cheek, but since they were still in the ice she slipped and the kiss went to his lips! She separated quickly and began blusing a lot. She got on her feet and went out of the ice to get home as quick as possible. He followed and before she could start running he got her arm and pulled her for a long gently kiss, in which she participated.

"I love you, Rukia" he said once they pulled away.

"I love you too, silly head." she replied smiling.

They kissed again and he asked: "Did you like your present?"

"Yeah, It was the perfect present ever. Thanks, Ichigo!" says Rukia as she gives her skates to him.

"I'm glad you liked it." says Ichigo as he puts the skates in the backpack.

Rukia looks over at the pretty box and asks: "What's in that box?"

"Why don't you open it?" he says as he hands her the gift.

She removes the paper and the ribbon and opens the box. "It's Chappy, it's Chappy!!!" she says in a high pitched voice. "Thank you, Ichigo" sha says as she jumps in his arms. "I love you so much and not for the bunny only, for everything you've given me!!!" she says in an emotional tone.

"I love you too and thanks for everything!!" he says as he leans to kiss her again.

They were walking home together holding hands and she remember to ask him something.

"So, did you like the cookies I made for you?" she asks looking at him.

"You bet, they were amazing!!" he answers. "What did you do?"

"It's a secret." she replies smiling.

"Tell me." he says.

"Well I used some kidou to give them more flavor, that's all!!" she says blushing.

"Well you better use that kidou from now on, if you're cooking for me." he says smiling and looking at her.

"I will!!" she says. "I'm glad you liked them"

"Rukia?"

"What?"

"What did you get for me?" asks Ichigo curiously.

"Come on, it's at your house!" she says as she begins running.

They got home quickly and she went to get the present. She turned and gave it to him. First he opened the card and saw the bunnies. He smiled. It had bunnies, but those bunnies were Rukia and him. Then he opened the box. In there he found his favourites chocolates and also there was a cool looking black button shirt. He pulled out and said: "I like it!"

"Really?" sha asked looking at him.

"Yeah, I'll wear it tomorrow for the Chritsmas dinner." he says.

"You mean today, silly, it's 4:23 am." she says looking at the clock.

"Yeah,ok, today" he says rolling his eyes on her. "Why black?"

"Well, because you look hot and sexy wearing black that's why!!!" she says blushing and looking away.

"Thanks" he says as he takes the shirt to put it abck on the box, in the box he sees a note that says:
"This is the small present."

"What does this mean, Rukia? It says that this is the small present. Where's the big one then?" he asks looking confused.

"The big was supposed to be a kiss in the cheek from me, but since you alrady got that in a better way, I guess it's done." she replies smirking.

"Well I wouldn't mind to recieve it again." he says smirking.

"I wouldn't mind giving it to you again." she says as she leans to kiss him in the lips no in the cheek as originally it was planned.

I guess both of us got a perfect present, I have her and she has me. Nothing's better than that!

They pull away and Ichigo leans in the couch with Rukia on top, since he is to tired to go to his room and he knows she is also tired. So he decides they'll sleep in the couch, even if that means getting caught by his father on the morning. As sleep began coming he said: "Merry Christmas, Rukia."

"Merry Christmas, Strawberry." she replied.
